What changed this week (September 1 to 3, 2026)

Here is what landed this week.

Community

• Admins can reorder discussion groups from Manage → Discussions with up and down arrows. The order shows everywhere groups are listed.
• The community shell now keeps site pages out of its navigation, so the community surface shows only community things.
• Admin-only controls are marked in amber instead of hidden behind a mode, so an admin can see at a glance what a member does not.

Publishing

• The Recording content type is now called Videos. Existing slugs and URLs are unchanged.
• Fields that asked for work and gave nothing back were removed from Videos, Podcast and every content form.
• Every detail view has a back arrow that goes one level up, and the way out of the editor is at the top of the editor.
• A type's own archive no longer repeats its type badge on every card.
• A page can choose whether it appears as a themed site page or inside the community shell.
• A page can have a mobile version without one being compulsory; the normal template renders when there is none.
• A featured image is chosen from the media library instead of typed in as an ID.
• Team is a structured content type, so a team page is edited like any other content.
• A theme can render an organization's content, and the theme contract is written down.

Console

• The management console is organized into sections: Content, Community, Appearance, Site.
• Each organization can plug in its own analytics tracker.
• Every published page and every email carries a Supremely attribution.

Bug fixes

• Saving content no longer flashes a warning that template "None" was cleared.
• The brand colour picker works again; an inline handler had been blocked by the Content Security Policy.

For operators and developers

• make image and make deploy build the multi-arch image and update a server in one step.
• make pull-data mirrors a production database and uploads locally.
• The v1.0 release plan is rewritten as scope tables that match the issue tracker, with a target date of September 18, 2026.
